I have never been so scared in my life. Possibly because this was my first 3D zombie experience. All in all, quite a thrill, but the best bit was inarguably when my sister said she didn't want to keep watching and started declining Latin nouns. So at one point, what I heard was shoot, shoot, stab, slice, shoot, homo, hominis, homini, hominem, homine, homo, Umbrella Corporation, shoot, shoot, stab. Also, a reasonably awesome soundtrack and tolerable casting.
Having said that, I must add that I absolutely hate zombies. I hate regular zombies, and I really really hate zombies with tentacles. And zombie dogs with mouths in their mouths (so they can bite while they bite?). Or whatever those things were. Verily, the only thing worse than the above is an obnoxiously stereotypical traitor with ridiculous facial hair. The film in question boasts a multitude of all items on this little list of mine, but I hardly expected a psychological drama, so no surprises there, only a few bonus disappointment points (ding ding ding) for overkill. So that's that, no harm done, and I got what I went for: mind-numbing action, and Milla Jovovich in slow motion.
Looking forward to Priest now.
